Founded in 2003, Paws With Purpose, is a 501 (c) non profit organization that provides highly skilled Assistance Dogs as partners to children and adults with physical disabilities or other special needs. These dogs provide comfort and companionship; help to break down social barriers, and perform many tasks that help their partners lead more independent lives.
Come join us for our 2nd Annual Paws With Purpose Walkathon! Dogs are invited to bring their two-legged friends and enjoy a 2.5 mile walk through Joe Creason Park!
The walk begins at 2:00 pm but plan to come early to see some of our newest puppies and some of our fantastic dogs that have been training for their future of service.
Teams of ten or more will be recognized on our electronic Wall of Fame. The team who raises the most funding by April 15 will be presented with a special award at the walkathon.
Adults (18 & up): $25.00
Students (7 - 17 years old): $10.00
Children (6 years & under): Free
All dogs must be accompanied by an adult.
With the assistance of generous donors, and dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers, Paws With Purpose is committed to providing highly skilled companions at no charge to the recipients. All proceeds from the walkathon will go to Paws With Purpose!
