In this exciting and fun musical, an odd assortment of spelling champions learns that winning – and losing – isn’t everything. The tween characters spell their way through a series of words while candidly disclosing hilarious and touching stories from their lives, awkwardness and all.
The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee was 2005 Tony winner for Best Musical Book. Be prepared for riotous laughs and audience participation as CTC stages its first musical in several years with outstanding talent working with two professionals with considerable musical experience between them: Mera Kathryn Corlett and John Austin Clark.

Ticket prices are the same online or in person at the door. Evening shows are $15 adult and $10 student/senior + taxes and fees. Saturday matinees are $10 adult and $8 student/senior + taxes and fees. House opens 30 minutes before curtain and seating is general admission. Parking is on-street (parallel, no meters) or in the lot at the rear of the theatre. For sold out shows, reserved tickets will be released to those on standby five minutes before the show starts.
